Recruitment Consultant - Remote

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT | REMOTE | £40,000 - £60,000

Recruitment Consultant | Remote | £40,000–£60,000 + great commission

Remote.

No KPIs. No ceiling.

If you’re a recruiter who doesn’t need babysitting… who knows how to bill… and who’s quietly wondered “what would I earn if someone just got out of my way?” - keep reading.

You’ll be a 360 Recruiter working fully remote across tech or other professional services. No commute. No fixed hours. No pretending to look busy.

Just outcomes.

You’ll have a warm starting point too - a database of high-calibre candidates (think Oxbridge / Russell Group grads, now a few years into their careers), plus long-standing client relationships ready to be re-opened.

Not a “plug-and-play” desk with 30 live roles… but far from a cold start either.

So what’s actually different?

Let’s start with what you won’t have:

No daily KPIs.

No micromanagement.

No “why weren’t you on the phone at 8:59am?” energy.

Instead, you’ll get proper autonomy - the kind most agencies talk about, but quietly row back on.

And behind the scenes?

It's all taken care of for you.

CRM, compliance, ads, formatting, invoicing, credit control, reporting… it’s all taken care of. So you can focus on what actually makes money.

The first 3 months (where this really stands out)

Most businesses say “we’ll support you” - then leave you to it.

This is different.

For your first 3 months, John works for you:

Strong on BD? → He’ll resource and run delivery
Strong on delivery? → He’ll open doors and drive BD

It flexes around your strengths, not the other way round.

The money (the bit that actually matters)

No threshold.

Read that again.

No threshold.

Monthly commission looks like this (perm as an example):

Up to £10k → 10%
£10–20k → 30% on that slice
£20–30k → 40%
£30k+ → 50%

And then there’s a 6-month true-up - ensuring you earn at least 40% of your billings overall (and more as you bill higher).

So if you’re consistent, you win.

If you have a lumpy quarter, you’re not punished for it.

It’s designed for grown-up billers, not churn-and-burn recruiters.

What about tools?

You’ll have a say in them.

CRM and job boards are chosen with you, not imposed on you.

Want a company laptop and phone? Done.

Prefer your own setup with costs covered? Also fine.

Who this works for

You’ll probably recognise yourself in this:

You’ve billed £120k+ and know what you’re doing (£180–£300k+? even better)
You don’t hop jobs every 6 months without reason
You can work from home - or have a clear reason why you want to
You’re comfortable building or rebuilding a desk
You manage your own time like an adult (school runs, gym, life - all fine, as long as the work gets done)

And if you’re thinking longer term…

This isn’t just “another remote recruiter role”.

If you’re a big biller and want more:

Build and run your own remote team
Or… launch a branded local office (think your city, your name on the door)
John funds it, you run it, and you earn meaningful equity in that business over time

Not someday. Not “maybe”. A clear path.

What’s on offer:

£40,000 – £60,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Commission and strong earning potential including top up bonuses

Fully remote role (must be UK based)

A team ready for structured management and development

Clear opportunity to grow within an established specialist recruitment firm
