Executive Search Consultant – MedTech (Medical Imaging & AI)

📍 Leeds (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

There’s a boutique in the MedTech space doing things differently.

They operate at the sharp end of the market: C-suite, VP and board hires - while also helping scale companies through capital raises (£10–100m rounds) and connecting some of the most ambitious MedTech CEOs in a growing international community.

It’s not high-volume.

It’s not transactional.

And it’s definitely not built on e-shot culture.

So, what would you actually be doing?

You’ll take ownership of a specialist vertical - medical imaging, radiology and AI - and build it into something meaningful.

Leading retained, end-to-end search processes (proper ones - deep briefs, market mapping, longlists, shortlists)
Partnering directly with CEOs, founders and investors on critical hires
Becoming a genuine expert in your niche - not just a recruiter in it
Building your market through insight-led content (think podcasts, articles, conversations… not spam)
Playing a key role in shaping - and eventually leading - a team around you

What kind of person thrives here?

Probably someone who’s started to question the way recruitment is “normally” done.


You’ve got 3+ years in MedTech / medical devices recruitment (imaging or radiology would be ideal)
You’ve billed £250–300k+ and know what it takes to perform
You’re comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders — and adding value when you do
You’ve invested in yourself (reading, learning, improving… not standing still)
And you’re ready to move away from volume-led environments into something more thoughtful, more strategic… more grown up

The numbers:

Base salary: £35–45k (depending on experience)
Commission up to 50%
