Having been around Recruitment for the past 14 years (including a season-long loan spell to Rec-Tech) I’d like to think I know a thing or two about what makes a good Recruiter and Agency!   

Temp, Perm, RPO, growing desks in new sectors, building recruitment teams... you name it, I’ve got the T-shirt (with some epic fails along the way 👀)! 

 

I was once asked on a training course what my main attribute was as a Recruiter... for me it’s honesty and just being relatable.  Treat people with respect and don’t talk like a corporate robot and it seems to work most of the time.    

 

Out with Recruitment, I’m also a Sports & Performance Psychologist so spend my evenings and weekends helping people overcome psychological challenges that impede performance in sport, business or life. 

 

When I’m not helping Recruiters find a new role or helping people get out their own head, any spare time is spent with the wife & kids or playing Ice Hockey or Golf.
