Recruitment Consultant - Industrial Temps
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - INDUSTRIAL - NORWICH - £35,000 - £40,000
Temp industrial recruitment is not for the faint-hearted.
It’s fast. It’s noisy. It changes by the hour. One minute you’re filling a night shift, the next you’re calming down a client, chasing availability, checking right to work, replacing a no-show and somehow still finding time to win new business.
Some people hate that.
Some people absolutely come alive in it.
If you’re the second one, keep reading.
This is a chance to join a recruitment business that has just opened a brand-new branch in Norwich. Which means no dusty desk, no inherited bad habits and no walking into someone else’s shadow.
You’ll have room to make your mark.
You’ll be recruiting temporary workers into industrial, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing and production environments. Pickers, packers, machine ops, FLT drivers, warehouse teams, shift workers, site support. The kind of roles where speed matters, service matters and relationships are built by doing what you said you were going to do.
You’ll need to be comfortable working at pace.
The phone will matter. So will your organisation. So will your ability to spot problems before they become disasters. You’ll be speaking to clients, booking temps, filling shifts, building pools of reliable candidates, checking availability, winning new work and making sure your desk is growing in the right direction.
But you won’t be doing it alone.
You’ll have a manager who knows how to sell.
Not in a vague “I’ll support you” kind of way. More in a “watch this, learn this, now go and do it better” kind of way.
They’ll feed you jobs. They’ll open doors. They’ll back you in front of clients. They’ll help you build your own pipeline and sharpen your sales skills until you’re better than you thought you could be.
This is a grown-up environment.
There are clear targets. Proper structures. Sensible expectations. People who want you to succeed, but won’t pretend recruitment is easy. You’ll know what good looks like, you’ll know what you’re working towards and you’ll be given the tools and direction to get there.
No chaos dressed up as culture.
No sink-or-swim nonsense.
Just a business that wants ambitious recruiters, gives them a platform and expects them to use it.
You’ll suit this if you’ve already worked in temp industrial recruitment, logistics recruitment or a similarly fast-paced temps desk. You know how quickly things move. You understand clients who need people now, not next week. You’re confident on the phone, commercially switched on and able to build trust with candidates who might be working today, tomorrow and somewhere else by Friday.
You’ll also need a bit of edge.
The good kind.
The kind that makes you pick up the phone again after someone says no. The kind that makes you chase the lead, visit the client, fill the booking and keep building even when the day has gone sideways.
In return, you’ll get the chance to be part of something early.
A new Norwich branch. A market with real opportunity. A manager who will actively help you win. A business with the structure, backing and culture to look after you properly.
So if you’re an industrial temps recruiter who wants more than just another desk, this could be a very good move.
Send your CV. Drop me a message. Pick up the phone.
Whatever works for you.
The best moves usually start with a good conversation.
