QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH EXECUTIVE - REMOTE - £28,000

Quantitative Research Executive

£28,000

Fully remote, with occasional travel to South East London

Some people read the polls.

Some people argue about them.

And some people know how to build them, run them, analyse them, and turn those numbers into stories.

That’s what this job is about.

You’ll join a new and growing quantitative research and political polling business, led by someone who’s been in the business a long time and has a lot to teach.

You’ll work across market research and political polling projects. One week that might mean looking at what voters think about a policy, politician or party. Another week it might be a project on toothpaste shopping habits. The subject matter changes but the craft is the same.

You’ll help assemble surveys using an existing library, and learn how good questions are built. Then you’ll work with the data once fieldwork is complete. Using Excel and SPSS you’ll clean and structure the data, look for patterns and stories, and turn it all into presentations full of insights and analysis. You won’t have to deliver these presentations at first, but you’ll be in the room.

Most of the political clients tend to be Conservative or Reform, so while you don’t need to be a staunch supporter, you do need to be professionally comfortable in that world.

While the role is primarily remote, you will occasionally need to travel to meet clients. So as well as being practically located to reach South East London (York ain’t gonna work) you’ll need to be comfortable holding conversations with clients. As the person managing the data, you’re likely to be the one with the answers.

Apply now with your CV or get in touch if you have questions. I’ll respond to everyone, one way or another.
