You love recruitment. You love the thrill of bringing a new client on, then another, then another.
You're mentality is 'it's never enough'.
But currently you're being dragged in to delivery, candidate management which let's be honest, just isn't your bag.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a high performing boutique agency that specialise in the property (BTR/Retirement/Student/Co-Living/Social) sector. 95% of the work they do is retained, with a 92% delivery rate.
The Role
Essentially, you will attack the remaining 90% of the market that these folks have not yet penetrated (due to threshold rather than ability!). So you will:
Identify, engage, and win new accounts in the BTR/Retirement/Student/Co-Living/Social
Nurture and expand long-term client relationships.
Meet clients in person regularly (5–6 meetings a week - all travel expensed).
Work purely no new business, no delivery or candidate management.
Working with a high-performing team on delivering outstanding recruitment projects.
About You:
Best case scenario is that you already know this market, what makes the clients tick and know their buying triggers. However, you don’t need sector-specific experience - but you do need to have a track record of success in a business development role and the ability to prove you’ve built and converted pipelines in the recruitment industry, ideally on retained/MSP/RPO and project based recruitment.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Naturally trustworthy (you'll spend a lot of time working solo), driven, and confident in front of clients.
Energised by face-to-face interaction, not just calls and emails.
Commercially sharp, with the ability to quickly get to grips with a new market.
