180 Recruitment Consultant

180 RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT | DUBLIN | e35,000 - e45,000

Recruitment Consultant - Tech - Central Dublin
€35-45,000 + commission

You know recruitment. You’ve closed tough roles, coaxed brilliant but passive candidates out of hiding, and built trust in markets where talent is tight and timing is everything. You’ve handled complexity before, and you’re not afraid of a challenge.

This role is for someone who wants to focus on delivery. It’s a 180 position with no cold sales. The business development team here is thriving, having brought in over 80 clients in the past two years. You’ll step in to work those accounts, managing relationships and filling roles across the tech landscape like software engineers, DevOps specialists, cyber security experts, data scientists, analysts, project managers. The kind of work that needs a recruiter who knows how to sell an opportunity to the right person.

It’s essential that you come from an agency background and are used to recruiting for complex or difficult to fill roles. You don’t need to have worked specifically in tech, but this won’t suit someone from a volume recruitment background. You’ll need to be commercially minded, someone who can sell to hard-to-reach candidates and who’s comfortable asking questions, challenging when needed, and bringing that market knowledge back to the BD team.

The setup here is genuinely autonomous. You won’t be micromanaged. Your manager’s job is to support and facilitate, not to dictate. There’s excellent training, a clear progression structure, and a culture that promotes based on performance, not time served. Everyone knows what the targets are, and what’s needed to move up. One of the current directors started here just six years ago as a trainee, now they’re a shareholder.

If you’re performing, you’ll move quickly.

In terms of earning potential, most people are making between 80% to 120%of their base salary again in commission. The team is high performing, but it’s also collaborative, friendly, and social. You’ll be working from the central Dublin office, five days a week, although there are some options for a few days a month at home.

If you’re ready to take on a role where you can grow fast, earn well, and genuinely enjoy your work, let’s talk. Send over your CV or just drop a message to start the conversation.
