BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR | REMOTE | £50,000 - £70,000 + BONUS

Business Development Director | Events | Full-time/Part-time | £45,000 - £70,000 (DOE) + Comms

What if your next role didn’t require more hours, just more impact?

You’re already seasoned. Strategic. A proven closer. But maybe what you’re missing isn’t challenge – it’s balance.

We’re looking for a Business Development Director to lead the growth of a thriving brand in the creative, events, and experiential space. Someone who’s as comfortable mapping market strategy as they are picking up the phone and adding to the top of the funnel.

This is a company that plays to win - and does it with elegance, insight, and intention. So if you’re craving real impact without the burnout, we should talk.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

New Business Acquisition: Lead high-level prospecting, securing new briefs and
partnerships that align with revenue, margin, and long-term growth forecasts.

Marketing & Brand Alignment: Collaborate closely with senior marketing and
content teams to shape campaigns, thought leadership, and promotional activity that
supports business growth.

Strategic Reporting: Provide detailed performance updates and insights to
executive leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Process Innovation: Develop and refine systems and practices that enhance
efficiency, conversion, and client engagement across the business development
function.

This isn’t just a sales role. It’s about shaping the future of a growing group of businesses.

The person we’re looking for:

You’re already a trusted voice in business development within the events industry. You’ve grown revenue, built strategic partnerships, and done those hard yards, and probably walked away from some corporate gigs that drained the life out of you.

Now, you’re after meaningful work - not just a title.

You’ve got:

5+ years in business development/sales, ideally in events, creative agency or hospitality sectors.
A track record of building big-ticket client relationships.
Strong commercial instinct - you understand how to balance revenue with long-term value.
Experience leading others - you coach, inspire and elevate those around you.
The ability to think strategically, but also roll up your sleeves up to do those initial calls.

What’s in it for you?

Flexibility: You can either work full-time, part-time (3 days a week)
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 + Comms - the base will depend on your experience level
Rewarding package: Car allowance, financial bonus, laptop, phone.
Human culture: No egos. Just smart people working together with purpose.
Long-term perks: Holiday purchase scheme, life insurance, employee awards, discounts and more.

Sound like your kind of move?

Let’s have a conversation.

Send over your CV if you have one, or just drop us a line with a quick note about your experience and why this feels like the right time. We respond to everyone - because relationships matter here.
